Amazing Grace
I wrote the following post a couple years back with scriptures outlining the song, This is Amazing Grace, by Phil Wickham with bible scriptures. I came across it last week, and it is just what I needed to be reminded of. I fall short. I mess up. I doubt the goodness of God. I get frustrated with myself. The list can go on and on, and then I try to fix it all myself. If I just pray more. If I just read my bible more. If I just do (fill in the blank) of whatever you think you need to do to earn God's grace or forgiveness. I just need to be honest with myself and with my God. He is there. He listens. He already knows. He forgives not because of anything I do, but because of who He truly is & the sacrifice He took on for me. This my friends is the true depth of amazing grace.
